In State ex rel. Young v. Blendon Twp. Police Dept., the Court lifted the stay of the briefing schedule because the case is no longer being held for a decision in State ex rel. Gatehouse Media Ohio Holdings II, Inc. v. Columbus Police Dept. The relator can file an amended merit brief reflecting State ex rel. GateHouse Media Ohio Holdings II, Inc. v. Columbus Police Dept., within 30 days.
In In re Chukwuani, the Court granted the motion to file an affidavit of disqualification against Judge David E. Stucki.

In State ex rel. Slodov v. Gallagher, the Court ordered the respondent to file a response, if she chooses, by 3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 15, to the relator’s motion for immediate stay of appellate-court proceedings.
In Disciplinary Counsel v. Greulich, the Court suspended David Greulich Jr. of Cleveland from the practice of law for an interim period.
December 9, 2025
The Court denied appellee John Paganini’s request to dismiss Paganini v. Cataract Eye Ctr. of Cleveland as improvidently allowed.
In State v. Tilton, the Court ordered appellee to file a response, if it chooses, by 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, to the appellant’s emergency motion for a stay pending appeal.
In State ex rel. Matveeva v. Cuyahoga Cty. Court of Common Pleas Clerk, the Court ordered the respondent to file an answer to the petition no later than Monday, Dec. 15.
The Court accepted State v. Morrel for review.
In State v. Barton, the Court will permit out-of-state attorney Jonah Horwitz to participate in the case.
