Office of Fiscal Resources
The Office of Fiscal Resources is responsible for implementing the court's budget, including the payment of the salaries of the judges of the state. The office also processes purchase requisitions and payment vouchers, completes an annual inventory, prepares budget reports and forecasts, and assists the court in managing over $120 million in the Supreme Court/Judiciary budget. The Office of Fiscal Resources also oversees the operation of the Records Management Program.
The office also works to ensure proper internal controls are in place to maintain compliance with relevant policies and guidelines, particularly with regard to purchasing, travel reimbursements and grants.
The Supreme Court of Ohio has developed a website to provide guidance and direction to Ohio courts in their efforts to procure goods and services such as technology (audio/video equipment, case management systems, etc.). The site includes resources designed to guide courts through the various stages of procurement, including requests for proposals, contracting, and project management. While these resources will serve as helpful and informative reference tools for courts, it is not an all-inclusive instructional guide. The Supreme Court of Ohio remains committed to assisting Ohio courts and providing guidance in regards to large procurements when needed.
