Civil Stalking Protection Order Mediation Rules and Forms
The Supreme Court of Ohio approved rules to permit mediation of some civil stalking protection order cases (CSPO), not involving family or household members, following an 18-month pilot program. (See Sup.R. 16.14, 16.21, 16.30 – 16.32.) Effective April 15, 2021, the revised rules provide a list of CSPO cases that may not be mediated, and guidance for courts to determine those that might be safely mediated. Approved forms for mediation of CSPOs are below.
