Bar Admissions Online Services
Applicants who have filed an initial application (Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission to the Practice of Law) with the Office of Bar Admissions may log in to a secure Web portal and perform the following functions:
- check the status of their application(s);
- update their contact information*;
- supplement their application(s); and
- request information or assistance from the Office of Bar Admissions.

Instructions
- Go to the Supreme Court of Ohio Login screen and create a new account or log in, whichever is applicable.
- Enter the requested information on the “Applicant Validation Form” screen.
- Securely retain your login information as requested and click “OK”.
- From the “Applicant Information” screen, you may edit your contact information or you may choose a function from the list in the box in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
- From the “Check Application Status” screen, you can click on the “View Status” button of any application you have filed.
- From the “Provide Supplemental Information” screen, select the application you would like to supplement and type the information you wish to communicate in the box provided. If you wish, you may also submit a document by clicking the “Browse” button and selecting the appropriate document from your files.
- From the “Request Information” screen, you may type your question/request and click the “Submit” button.
*Please note that former applicants who have been admitted to the practice of law in Ohio may view their applicant information and the status of their previous applications; however, they cannot edit information.
