Governor Appoints Tenoglia to Meigs County Common Pleas Court
Pomeroy law director Christopher Tenoglia will join the Meigs County Common Pleas Court bench on Jan. 23 after his appointment today by Gov. John R. Kasich.
Tenoglia will serve out the remainder of the term of former general and domestic relations divisions Judge Frederick Crow, who retired on Nov. 13. Tenoglia must run in the November general election to serve a full six-year term that begins Jan. 1, 2013.
Since 1996, he has operated a private law practice and has served as law director. Previously, Tenoglia served as the Meigs County assistant prosecuting attorney for 10 years.
Tenoglia is a member of the Ohio State and Meigs County bar associations, and is a life member of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. He received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio.
