Korean Judicial Delegation to Visit Montgomery County Common Pleas Court
A group of judges and court officials from the Republic of Korea will visit the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on Monday and Tuesday to study the administration and use of jury trials.
Korea has recently introduced jury trials in its court system. Common pleas judges previously hosted a delegation of judges from Korea in January 2007.
This visit is facilitated by the National Center for State Courts International Visitors Education Program. The program designs and conducts educational programming for hundreds of international justice-sector leaders each year.
The court’s general division previously hosted similar delegations from the Ukraine and Russia.
