Warren County Common Pleas Court Judge James Heath Dies at 47

Members of Ohio’s legal and judicial community are mourning the sudden and unexpected death of a Southwest Ohio judge.

Warren County Common Pleas Court Judge James Heath was found dead in his home on Sunday, May 24. Judge Heath, 47, had served on the bench for nearly 15 years. He is survived by his wife and three children.

He was a member of the Supreme Court of Ohio Advisory Committee on Domestic Violence, the American Bar Association and the bar associations in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties, and the Association of Municipal/County Judges of Ohio.

Judge Heath was a graduate of Miami University and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Supreme Court staff members have been in contact with Warren County officials to offer condolences and support.
