Judicial College Schedule of Courses Released for 2010

Another New Year approaching means another full schedule of courses offered by the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College.

The Supreme Court today posted the 2010 course calendar with dates, locations and targeted audiences for courses available next year.

A total of 151 courses fill out the schedule for judges, acting judges, magistrates, judicial candidates, court personnel and attorneys. However, Judicial College Director Milt Nuzum said this total doesn’t reflect the monthly Webinars and online courses that are offered throughout the year on an as-needed basis.

Created in 1976 and governed by Gov. Jud. R. V, the Judicial College was established to provide educational programs and activities for Ohio judges. In 1988, the program was expanded to include court referees and magistrates, and in 1990 the college began to provide programs for non-judicial court personnel throughout the state.

Register for a course.
